Pall’s premium Vivid™ Plasma Separation membrane generates plasma from whole blood in a single step using an asymmetric membrane structure, which allows the cellular components of the blood to be captured in larger pores near the top, while the plasma flows into smaller pores downstream. The protein concentration of clinical biomarkers is not reduced when processed through the membrane, making it an ideal material for diagnostic applications.
